Bulk
Cheaper per tonne, less plastic, less manual work. Needs access, dry storage and clarity that dust and static are part of blowing in. Moisture mistakes in the silo spoil a large quantity at once.
Bagged
More expensive because of filling and logistics, but storable in batches in a side room, smaller quantities and visual control. Practical for a fireplace with a hopper or homes without a ground silo.
Choice
- Silo and good access — usually bulk.
- Low consumption, rented, no storage — bags.
- Mix: base as bulk + bags as reserve for the end of the season.
